Answer
There are a few ways.
Find videos with Summon:
- Enter your topic search terms on the Learning Commons homepage.
- In your search results, find the Content Type search bar and enter "video."
- Check the box next to the content type Streaming Video.
This search process does not include videos on Kanopy. To search Kanopy, follow the directions below:
Search video databases
- Click Databases on the Learning Commons homepage.
- In the Database Types dropdown menu, select Streaming Video.
- Choose the video database you want to search.
The database you choose to search will depend on your research topic. Kanopy, and Films on Demand are great places to start.
Kanopy requires you to create a free account using your DCCC email address. It's quick and easy process.
